The Couture Process
Each Blanc Bridal gown is brought to life through a series of thoughtfully considered fittings. From first conversation to final stitch, your gown is shaped with intention, collaboration, and emotional clarity. Ensuring that every element is designed around you.
Your journey begins in our Perth atelier with a private one-on-one consultation. During this appointment, we explore silhouettes, design influences, and the emotional essence of your day. Fabric selections are presented and discussed, and precise measurements are taken to shape the technical foundation of your gown.
This is where your dress begins to take shape, both in sketch and in sentiment.
First Fitting
The first fitting introduces your gown in calico toile, a soft cotton prototype that allows us to refine the silhouette in real time. Every line, angle, and proportion is carefully reviewed to ensure it complements your form and reflects your vision. Fabric choices can be finalised at this stage if not already confirmed.
This fitting is focused on structure, balance, and the artistry of the foundation.
Second Fitting
At this stage, your gown is cut in its true fabrics. Texture, drape, and detail begin to emerge. Together we make final decisions on design elements such as neckline shape, skirt volume, train length, and veil styling. Adjustments are guided not only by fit, but by how the gown moves with you.
It is no longer a concept. It is becoming yours.
Third Fitting
As the gown nears completion, we focus on refinement. This fitting includes precise alterations such as length adjustments, contouring, and seam placements. For many brides, this is the first time they see the full silhouette and feel the way the gown holds them.
The dress is ready to be lived in.
Final Fitting
The final appointment brings the entire vision together. Your finished gown is styled with veil, shoes, and accessories, offering a glimpse of your complete bridal look. Final refinements are made with care, including bustle adjustments and styling touches.
It is a moment of quiet celebration before the gown becomes part of your story.
